The life of a song is an incredible journey. First a song is written. Then it is simply recorded, or "work taped" by the songwriter(s). Then it is demoed so it can be presented to record producers, record label staff and/or recording artists. Then, if it's lucky, it is recorded by an established recording artist. And finally, if the stars align, a song makes it's way through a near impossibly labyrinth of obstacles and finds it's way up the charts to the songwriters get to put shoes on their kids for a year or two.
